We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Java Lead. This role is responsible for developing the most appropriate and secure Technology solutions using iterative software development/programming in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement. Principal accountabilities: Java Team Lead with evidenced history of enterprise systems development (Coding, Unit Testing, Technical and Functional design, Code review) and implementation into complex IT environments. The applicant needs to have expertise in coding in java with sound knowledge of Core Java and Spring framework (MVC and Boots) and APIs. Should be able to design and author industry standard API definitions and knowledge API authoring tools like swagger. In depth knowledge of design and modeling standards such as UML, API Integration Patterns and Java Design Patterns is a must as the role is required to deliver new features and extend existing systems to deliver best-in-class solutions within short timeframes without sacrificing quality. Strong team player who also has the ability to work under pressure, independently and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations. The candidate should have both a high attention to detail and be able to articulate designs and implementation aspects in a concise manner.
