The Opportunity Level of Technical Expertise is Medium. This role will leverage & enhance existing technologies with moderate impact & risk for the organization. Managed the day to day I&O Product Management Planning activities in support of I&O Technical Leads for Global Workplace Services, Network Service, Compute Services and Cloud Services. The I&O Product Mgt and Cost Analyst will act as an aggregation center for Technical Towers capabilities, IT cost structure and Sector Demand for the planning of services offered and consumed by PepsiCo related to S&T Infrastructure. Deep understanding of cost drivers (usage, contracts, consumption patterns) is key for the success of this role. Perform cost analysis and bench-marking activities that align with S&T leadership and Finance to help valid cost make-ups and cost characteristic for Infrastructure related products. Set the operating cadence and set expectation for data rigor/quality flowing into Apptio and drive financial insights back into technical towers to ensure cost effective IT infrastructure. Support existing PepsiCo Productivity and Waste Elimination process. Support data quality and rigor within TBM (Apptio) and other Key systems (Service Now, Calero, etc.) Support and engage Vendor Management, Global Procurement and S&T Finance for cost effective IT Services. Your Impact As IT Products & Cost Management Analyst your responsibilities would consist of: Partner Sr. Manager of I&O Product Management to drive platform rigor in the I&O Product & Cost Management Space. Accountable for defining and implementing I&O Product Management process and procedures that drive transparency and cost insight to the use of IT services offered. Provide technological, functional, contractual, and financial understanding of IT products offered to PepsiCo stakeholder to help with decision making on selection and usage patterns. Understand and optimize IT Service and Products through waste elimination to help drive efficiencies and productivity. Partner with Technical Towers (Global Workplace Services, Network Services, Compute Services and Cloud Services) to ensure cost are fully transparent and aligned to services areas and product SKUs. Partner with Global Procurement, Technical SME, and IT Finance to align on cost structure and Taxonomy to drive agreement on cost for IT and back into the Sector/business. Drive IT roadmap to share acceptable standards that are offered by PepsiCo S&T Infrastructure that align to Accelerate IT (MSP contractual Obligations) operating model, business, and financial objectives. Support Demand planning and activities in partnership with Technical Towers and Sector Delivery Leads to support business operations. Provide insights for the TBM (Technology Business Management) Teams for the sharing of product alignment to assure clear understanding and communication via Apptio to Towers, Finance and Sectors. Implement, capture and report on consumption patterns of usage and recovery (Cross Charges) to support and provide inputs into Budgets and AOP Cycles. Partner on financial forecasting; operational budgets and Productivity Objectives Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies (Vendor releases) and processes related to enterprise level IT products and services in the industry including recurring benchmarking. Make and influence technical, financial, and business decisions based on data and transparency of consumption patterns and usage. Develop opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and remove organizational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery. Help assure data quality in systems of record are verified for the purposed of transparency and ease of access to help build trust in the services S&T Infrastructure offers. Generate appropriate communication, process and educational updates related to IT Products and Services Be the primary liaison between S&T Infrastructure and Field and Sectors Support Team to help explain IT product and services related to usage and cost structures. Partner with Finance to ensure agreed upon messaging of cost drivers and areas of opportunities for cost take out.
